Early on

I am so fascinated by drawing, sketching, painting and it’s capability to bring my imagination to many places. Early on, I wanted to use paints… so I did.

Current

I have been teaching myself painting for many years and I’m still learning every day. I am building my business as a freelance artist.

Artist Statement

I am a self-educated freelance artist, experimenting with practical ideas and impractical notions.  I have been viewed as an impressionist and surreal abstract artist.

The colors I use always begin with the three primary colors and are lightened or darkened, hardened or softened, brightened or shadowed.

I create all with my imagination and inspiration of the brush. I have always drawn and painted, including floor cloths, interior murals, glass bottles and the drafting of homes.

The true fascination I have with painting is that I can paint and paint, over and over on a canvas and alter the picture but not the perception.  Humanity, the beauty of nature and my imagination take over the canvas with each brush stroke.
